What does solidarity mean to us today? Do the multiple crises of a world that has become increasingly complex and global require different forms of relating to one another than in 1963, during the Cold War?
Andrea Hubin invites us together with guests to view the exhibition No Feeling Is Final. The Skopje Solidarity Collection as a platform to talk – through the art – about ways of interrelating and forms of solidarity.
On October 19, Heide Hammer will accompany us through the exhibition, guided by the following questions: What is the relationship between competition and solidarity? How can relationships based on solidarity be lasting, and what about the ideal of reciprocity that does not think in terms of indebtedness?
Heide Hammer, philosopher and political activist of LINKS, likes to be in motion. She thinks, reads, and writes best in groups and works at the Medical University of Vienna.
